One of Bangladesh’s leading textiles manufacturers, the Apex Textile Group on Monday (30 November) unveiled a roadmap to introduce its own brand.
Participating at a view exchange programme with the retailers and the wholesalers, held in capital Dhaka, Md. Abrar Rashid (the Group’s Director) maintained that Apex Textile Group wants to introduce its own brand so as to strengthen its position in the burgeoning fabric manufacturing industry.
Considering the growing demand of our fabrics, we are going to launch our own brand soon, stated Md. Abrar Rashid at the event while adding that the company also weaves and dyes fabrics for other top brands in the domestic market.
Underlining that Apex Textile Group mainly produces home textiles currently, a Director of the company, AHM Jahangir, reportedly said that as the company launches its own brand it would expand its product base and diversify into other items as well.
Meanwhile, local fabric traders have reportedly maintained that owing to long presence in the fabric industry, Apex’s own brand has good potential to grab the market.
