AEC Narrow Fabrics (AEC) recently concluded the purchase of Narricot Industries, a unit of International Textile Group, Inc. Following the purchase, the Narricot plant facilities along with equipment and current inventories in Boykins, Va and Murfreesboro, NC and Narricot products and certain intellectual properties of the business will be transferred to AEC. The manufacturing facilities of Narricot will continue operating and manufacturing the present Narricot product. Narricot is a 116 years old US based producer of woven narrow fabrics for military, fire, safety, rescue operations, automotive, industrial and recreational use. Larry Himes, AEC Narrow Fabrics’ CEO expressed pleasure at the acquisition and believed that Narricot’s strengths will complement AEC’s work.
