The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has urged students to cooperate alongside law enforcement officials to ensure the security of companies and industrial establishments.
In a message published over WhatsApp on Friday on behalf of FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam, the organisation emphasised the incredible change that has occurred in recent days, fuelled by Bangladesh’s youth and student populations. This revolution has instilled a fresh sense of hope in the student population.
The statement continued to say that at this vital point in history, young people are actively fighting to create a secure, egalitarian, and humane society. Despite these gains, stories have emerged of miscreants and conspiracies attacking people’s lives, properties, enterprises, and factories. The business community firmly opposes these horrific actions.
The president of the FBCCI expressed optimism that Bangladesh’s heroic students are working hard to put an end to the mayhem. They have previously been active in traffic management, cleanliness maintenance, and market monitoring to keep pricing under control in Dhaka and other areas around the country. These efforts have provided relief to the general public.
Mahbubul Alam added that fear still lingers among owners and workers in several industrial areas. In such circumstances, the FBCCI urges students to join forces with law enforcement agencies in safeguarding businesses and industrial establishments.
