Primarily known for labels, One Stop Packaging is a one-stop shop for garment accessories such as labels, tags, hangers, providing packaging and security solutions to its customers. The company is looking forward to good growth with a few specialized products, while adhering to quality and timely delivery of its products.
Amongst its specialized products, the security/alarm labels are very much in demand following international trend, and being the North India channel partners to Tyco, one of the largest companies in the world for retail security solutions, the company supplies AM labels to brands such as Mango, Promod, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, etc. “These labels are becoming as important as any embellishments in the garment which secures it,” informs Paramveer Singh, Owner of One Stop Packaging. The increasing importance of security is not only restricted to the international market, as demand in the domestic market is picking up through installation of the company’s security pedestals such as Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) which is an anti-theft device providing security at retail level.
Being a nominated supplier to a few Canadian and Spanish companies the company caters to all kinds of labels such as woven, printed, tags and packaging materials through its two manufacturing facilities in Surat and Delhi. While the Surat setup is basically for continuous production of small orders in standard designs, the Delhi one includes a team of designers and a bigger setup for large orders. “Having an in-house manufacturing setup is a big advantage as we can not only control cost and quality, but can also address a lot of specialized and customized needs of our customers. In fact, that is what sets us apart from other companies doing similar products,” says Paramveer.
Known for their commitment on delivery schedules, the company is always experimenting with new concepts and is open to working with customers to give ‘something extra’. In labels an interesting area that they work in is labels which help in promoting brands. “We have done labels for promotional garments and a few of our bigger projects have been the promotional jackets for Formula One and the Russian Olympic team,” informs Paramveer.
Apart from labels, the company in line with the latest awareness for things sustainable has also designed a new biodegradable poly bag, which is transparent from one side and black from the other. This relatively new product has got a good response from the customers as it is less harmful to the environment in comparison to the normal polybag. “Earlier there was a little resistant to this product because of the cost but we have shared that extra bit with the customers so they are now happy. To a customer, the price difference would be about 3-4 per cent, but overall it is 5-7 per cent. We are able to cover our 2-3 per cent, which only a few can, due to good orders,” explains Paramveer.
Meanwhile, the company has also started producing its own specialized hangers, which are mainly in small sizes and customized shapes for products such as ties, belts, etc. due to the constant need to meet the clients demand for a complete solutions package. “We have maintained a standard and we adhere to it,” concludes Paramveer.
