Eddie Bauer, the well-known American outdoor brand, has just unveiled a resale service through an extended partnership with full-service technology and reverse logistics firm Arrive.
(Re)Adventure programme! This new programme enables all the customers of Eddie Bauer to purchase second-hand, refurbished items at lower costs or rent popular fashion items.
Arrive helps transform the major returns problem that many firms face into a revenue-driving channel.
More on the programme, Kristen Elliott, VP Marketing, Eddie Bauer, said that the brand has been able to successfully offer customers new and more accessible ways to outfit their adventures, in addition to keeping more used gear out of landfills and on the trails where it belongs.
The second-hand fashion market in the US is expected to more than double to US $ 82 billion by 2026 – and if that happens it will be 16 times faster than the broader retail fashion market. This is according to study by resale platform ThredUp.
