Uniqlo’s ever-lasting collaboration with the Irish designer Jonathan Anderson, the Uniqlo x JW Anderson collab for Spring/Summer 2020 brings a fresh paint of Gingham over classic Uniqlo styles.
The collection spans over menswear, womenswear and kidswear with many additional products like totes, backpacks, stoles, socks and footwear making debut.
There are over 169 styles in the line that includes outerwear, dresses, shirts, T-shirts, shorts and much more. One of the highlights of this collection is the presence of Gingham and Buffalo check styles across various products.
Earlier this season, JW Anderson showcased a range that had Gingham styles on the Menswear Fall 2020 runway. For this collaboration, he has played with these checks in a fun and playful way by colour-blocking different checks together, which is evident in the kidswear section.
Gingham is generally associated with British fashion and added with Uniqlo’s global retail presence; the collection shall definitely appeal to a much larger audience for this spring season.
The collection is now available in stores as well as on Uniqlo’s website.
