Mary Homer, who has been heading the British fashion label Topshop for the past ten years, has announced to quit the post. This has led to hunt for a new boss for the fashion retailer of clothing, shoes, make-up and accessories.
Mary is all set to start her new inning at ‘The White Company’ the luxury lifestyle retailer, popular with the middle classes. She stared her inning with Topshop as a merchandiser more than three decades ago but swiftly rose and became boss of the fashion label.

Sir Phillip Green, Chairman of Arcadia Group, a retail company that includes Topshop, Topman, Wallis, Evans, Burton, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, and Outfit, is yet to find a replacement for Homer, said that her departure came as the Group was going through a big reorganization. Green termed her as a very loyal member of staff.
