Adding another feather to her cap, singer Taylor Swift is now entering the world of fashion through designing a collection in collaboration with Heritage 66 Company, which will be sold through one of the largest e-commerce companies in China, JD.com. The launch of the collection is meant to coincide with the arrival of the ‘1989’ music tour in November, held in Shanghai, China. This is a sharp move for the star who wants to make the most of her younger fan base – in the demographic of under 25 – that resides in China. She has a dominating presence on social media too which has become an eminent source of influencing retail in the area.
