July Wear, a Mumbai-based fashion brand specialising in comfortable attire, has successfully secured its inaugural funding round of Rs. 2 crore through the India Angel Fund. Neha Bajaj, a Mompreneur who transitioned from her manufacturing business in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, noticed a market gap for contemporary and stylish comfort wear within the homegrown brand range, prompting her to establish her own label.
Harnessing the potential of the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel, Neha aims to propel July Wear forward through strategic brand and creator collaborations, a product lineup, and international expansion. The company has set a target of achieving Rs. 100 crores MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) within 18 months.
This fresh injection of capital will enable July Wear to inaugurate an Experience Centre in South Mumbai, fostering potential collaborations with compatible brands and individuals. Simultaneously, the brand is gearing up for the launch of an exclusive collection in the Middle East, commencing with Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Neha’s vision extends to exploring the development of a range infused with natural fragrances and energy-boosting fabrics. Additionally, July Wear plans to curate exclusive collections in collaboration with emerging talents. emphasising the ethos of “Hire for Attitude and Train for Skill,” the company is actively recruiting for various positions to further its growth trajectory.
