Sreekanth Chetlur, a seasoned expert in retail and e-commerce, has left his role at Mumbai-based Shoppers Stop to join the Saudi Arabia-based United Homeware Company—Nice, a leading homeware brand. Chetlur will serve as the Chief E-commerce and Marketplace Officer at Nice, marking his return to the Middle East.
Reflecting on his tenure at Shoppers Stop, Chetlur expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build and scale the company’s digital business. “It was an honor to help make Shoppers Stop the top omnichannel player in India’s fashion and lifestyle sector,” he said.
Chetlur brings over 15 years of experience in digital, e-commerce, and omnichannel operations. He has held key leadership roles across industries such as retail, logistics, real estate, and FMCG, and has led initiatives in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India.
At Shoppers Stop, which operates more than 107 department stores across India, Chetlur was instrumental in driving the brand’s digital transformation. He ensured the company’s online presence matched its in-store success.
