Bimba y Lola, the Spanish clothing retailer, has seen its 2021 profit touch € 15.7 million, which is 413 per cent higher than what it was in 2020.
Notably, the clothing retailer has managed to double its EBITDA during the year to clock € 34.1 million.
The net revenue for the said period was € 216.5 million – a significant surge of 31 per cent year-on-year.
The retailer said that the good numbers represent complete recovery of business operating margins, achieving profitability levels that’s very close to those seen in the pre-pandemic period.
What’s noteworthy is that the retailer attained the numbers despite frequent store closures and cancellation of its launch in Russia.
Bimba y Lola’s international growth also enhanced its earnings, with global sales now accounting for 38 per cent of the Group’s total.
Founded in 2005, Bimba y Lola today has 275 stores in more than 14 countries across Europe, America and Asia, and its online store receives millions of visits per year.
