PVH Arvind Fashions Limited has appointed Lisa Basumatari as Head – Human Resources for its Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein businesses in India, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to focus on talent development and organisational growth.
Basumatari brings extensive experience in human resources, talent management, organisational development, learning and development, leadership capability building, campus relations, employee development and people strategy. Her career spans multiple sectors, including fashion, retail, media, banking, quick-service restaurants and learning consultancy.
Prior to taking up her new role, Basumatari served as Head – Talent and Organisational Development at Arvind Fashions Limited, where she played a key role in shaping talent strategy, leadership development and people transformation initiatives across the organisation.
Before joining PVH Arvind Fashions in her latest capacity, she held senior human resources positions at McDonald’s, including General Manager – People Resources and Deputy General Manager – People Resources. In these roles, she was responsible for supporting people strategy and HR operations within the quick-service restaurant sector.
Earlier in her career, Basumatari served as Head – Learning & Development, Talent Management and Campus Relations at SMEcorner, where she led initiatives focused on employee capability building, talent development and campus engagement programmes.
Her professional journey also includes leadership and specialist roles at Reliance Retail, RBL Bank, Viacom18 Media, Lee Hecht Harrison, TraininginCorporate, Synergy Relationship Management Services and The Learning Canvas. Across these organisations, she developed expertise in organisational development, learning strategy, talent management and HR capability building.
With her broad experience in people leadership and organisational effectiveness, Basumatari is expected to play an important role in advancing the human resources agenda for Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein under PVH Arvind Fashions, with a focus on strengthening talent capabilities, leadership development and employee engagement.
