PVH, the parent company of Tommy Hilfiger, has officially announced that Lea Rytz Goldman will be stepping into the role of the new global brand president for Tommy Hilfiger. This strategic move is part of the company’s PVH+ Plan, an initiative dedicated to elevating the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands while positioning the conglomerate as one of the highest-performing entities in the sector.
Scheduled to assume her position in spring 2024, Rytz Goldman brings over twelve years of experience to the big role. Currently serving as the managing director of Cos, she has been credited with leading the ‘revitalisation and strong global growth’ of the brand. Prior to her role at Cos, Rytz Goldman played a pivotal role in the repositioning of Arket, showcasing her expertise in brand development within the H&M Group.
Stefan Larsson, the CEO of PVH, extended a warm welcome to Rytz Goldman, highlighting her proven track record as a business builder with the ability to drive sustained, brand-accretive growth on a global scale. Larsson emphasised Rytz Goldman’s role in advancing the growth of the Tommy Hilfiger brand, a key component of PVH’s PVH+ Plan.
In light of Rytz Goldman’s appointment, the current CEO of Tommy Hilfiger global, Martijn Hagman, will transition to continue as CEO of PVH Europe. In this capacity, he will lead the Tommy Hilfiger global business until Rytz Goldman assumes her role in 2024, ensuring a seamless transition and sustained momentum for the brand.
