Italian luxury fashion brand Off-White has made its debut in India with the launch of its retail store in Bengaluru. The brand has streetwear-inspired apparel including hoodies, T-shirts, jackets, knitwear, denim, and joggers.
Following the Bengaluru launch, the next store is expected to open in Delhi later this year, followed by Mumbai in early 2027, with additional outlets planned for Hyderabad and Kolkata.
The brand is looking to tap into India’s rapidly expanding luxury streetwear market. According to Fortune Business Insights, India’s streetwear market is expected to cross US $26 billion in 2026, with the luxury segment growing quickly. Off-White is targeting revenues of approximately US $10 million in India within the next five years.
“Off-White represents a powerful fusion of fashion, culture, and creative expression. Bengaluru is a city that embraces innovation and contemporary style, making it a natural fit for the brand’s expansion. Through this inaugural store, we aim to connect with a vibrant, trend-setting audience and deliver a distinctive retail experience that reflects Off-White’s global vision,” said Abhinav Kumar, Co-Founder of Brand Concepts.
India’s young population, particularly Gen Z and millennials, is fueling interest in streetwear. While Indian streetwear has historically received limited international attention, the landscape is fast changing. Oversized silhouettes, bold graphics, and athleisure-meets-luxury pieces are now trending on social media, and consumers are increasingly drawn to brands that are fashion-forward, eye-catching, and in tune with global trends.
