British fashion retailer NEXT has opened its first store in Mumbai at Infiniti Mall, Malad, in partnership with Myntra. The 8,900 sq. ft. store offers women’s, men’s and children’s apparel.
The store has been opened through Myntra Jabong India Pvt. Ltd. (MJIPL), Myntra’s B2B wholesale entity. MJIPL holds the licensed rights to distribute NEXT products in India and works with franchisee partners to operate physical stores.
NEXT entered the Indian market through Myntra in 2023 before expanding into offline retail. Its first exclusive brand outlet in India opened in Pune in September 2025. The retailer had earlier announced plans to establish more than 50 points of sale in India through exclusive stores and shop-in-shop formats.
Before the Mumbai opening, NEXT had stores in markets including Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The company said its India network now stands at six stores, with two more planned by the end of 2026.
NEXT’s product range in India includes dresses, shirts, T-shirts, trousers, denims, shorts and co-ordinated sets across women’s, men’s and children’s categories.
Founded in 1982, NEXT operates more than 460 stores in the UK and around 265 international franchise locations. The company also sells online in approximately 80 countries.
The Mumbai store is located at Infiniti Mall on New Link Road, Malad, which has more than 200 shopping brands along with food and entertainment outlets.
The opening adds to NEXT’s physical retail network in India as the company continues to operate alongside its digital presence on Myntra.
