Hyderabad witnessed a 56 per cent year-on-year rise in retail leasing for malls and high streets from January to June 2024. Total leasing during this period reached 0.4 million sq.ft., up from 0.2 million sq.ft. in the same period previous year. The city also saw 0.5 million sq.ft. of new supply.
Fashion and apparel, homeware, and department stores were the primary drivers of leasing, accounting for around 74 per cent, with entertainment making up at 11 per cent.
