The Chinese designer brand Garçon by Garçon and fast fashion retailer H&M have collaborated to create a co-branded collection that will debut during Shanghai Fashion Week in October.
The ‘Le Soleil The Sun’ collection will include accessories, menswear, womenswear, and unisex products that combine traditional Eastern aesthetics with influences from classical Persian and ancient Greek art from the 5th century BC.
Chinese designer Tang Dayun founded Garçon by Garçon, a brand renowned for its distinctive visual storytelling that blends mythological techniques, scroll drawings, and storylines with Eastern and Western influences.
“We are very excited about the arrival of this co-branded collection. We continue to depict the sun in the way of Garçon by Garçon, showcasing brand’s aesthetic and emotional value to consumers while maintaining a pursuit of craftsmanship and functionality, presenting a highly wearable and story-filled series,” said Dayun.
The partnership, which is making its debut in conjunction with Shanghai Fashion Week, intends to draw attention to the younger generation of Chinese fashion designers by showcasing and encouraging the inventiveness of regional creative talent.
