
Grasim, the men’s lifestyle brand of Adtiya Birla Group, is planning to open 50 outlets by 2016 from the present count of 12 retail stores. Abhijit Ganguly, Grasim Bhiwani Textiles’ Brand Manager and Vice President informed that almost 80 per cent of the stores would be opened in small towns of Central India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. At present, the ready-to-wear section accounts for around Rs. 30 crore turnover from Grasim Industries, and in the next 3-4 years, it aims to touch Rs. 100 crore mark.
