Fruit of the Loom has recently won two prestigious awards from the retail giant Walmart. The retailer received ‘Omni Channel Supplier of the Year Award’ from Walmart Apparel and ‘Supplier of the Year Award’ for 2015 from Walmart Mexico, which recognized the company’s sales growth, analytical approach and innovation. This marks the third consecutive year for Fruit of the Loom to be nominated under the category of Best Apparel Supplier in Mexico. The company previously bagged the award in 2013.
Excited on winning the awards, Rick Medlin, President and CEO, Fruit of the Loom said, “It is an honour for our teams to have been recognized with these awards by one of the world’s largest retailers. It’s truly a team effort, and the culmination of a lot hard work. We are proud to be a Walmart partner and look forward to building on the success of this year.”

Both the awards indicates strong partnership of the retailer with Walmart. The relationship between Fruit of the Loom and Walmart Mexico saw added success through a collaborative approach to supply chain management, category management and analysis of key performance indicators.
