Aiming to take the upcoming festive sale season by storm by grabbing attention of its over 250 million consumers, Flipkart has joined hands with more than 100 brands to showcase their wide range of products across over 2,000 fashion stores on the e-marketplace.
The collaboration, encompassing more than 300 cities, will have a number of brands offer their products to local customers, thereby enabling them to take their picks from a wider selection.
Once the customers select their items for purchase, Flipkart’s supply chain will ensure those are delivered with utmost care.
The e-commerce giant believes that the omnichannel platform that it has provided to hundreds of brands will make it easier and faster for them to connect with their customers.
“The future of shopping is an integrated model where the lines will be blurred, ultimately creating a win-win situation for consumers, brands and sellers,” mentioned Nishit Garg, Vice President – Flipkart Fashion.
He went on to add that this approach will help them bridge “the gap that currently exists for firstly, aspiring customers in Tier-3 cities and beyond, who are seeking the best of current fashion trends, but have limited access; and secondly, for customers in metros who are seeking fresh fashion in a minimum timeframe.”
