Wherewolf was the very first and popular digital shopping application that allowed the consumers to do searchable inventories for size check and store availability in real time. Now, the app has come up with its first primary pop-up shop at St Martin’s Courtyard in Covent Garden, London.
The store located at 6 Slingsby Place will span across 1,700 square feet. The double storeyed layout will feature merchandises from various established independent British Designers, such as Blake Mill, Emin and Paul, Eudia and Rachel Entwistle.
WhereWolf will be unveiling the concept of ‘Digital Shopper’ in real life and real time. A first of its kind, the app provides the service of ‘Click and Collect’. Through this service, the customers can collect the purchased items immediately from the store rather than wait for usual practice of delivery time of 48 hours. This is an alternative, which will drive major footfall to stores.
In addition, the app provides the ‘price drop feature’; this application notifies its customers of any price drop in their sorted products so that they can go to the stores and purchase the products. The app can read (only after permission) the location of consumers and assist in finding products of the high street stores in the surrounding.
The pop store will be exhibiting collections, which are an amalgamation of currently available and select upcoming line –up’s. All the information regarding merchandises etc. will be updated digitally every hour. This is how the app aims to establish the future of retail.
Setting a tone for ‘first of its kind’, the pop up store also host multiple fashion masterclasses and workshops. Also, intimate sessions will conducted where customers can interact with brand owners and stratify the inquisitiveness about products.
Wherewolf presents the perfect marriage between traditional brick and mortar’s flexibility and versatility and fast natured e-commerce; this shopping assistant is what new in retail can be described as.
