Californian label Esprit is preparing to roll out a series of permanent stores in North America and beyond as it continues to reposition the brand against the backdrop of its recent relaunch.
William Pak, the company’s chief executive, announced that new retail locations would be unveiled in Los Angeles and New York this autumn.
In the winter, a new location will open in Vancouver, Canada; the first quarter of 2019 will see the opening of more stores in Miami, Chicago, Toronto, and Texas.
The company is currently operating out of two pop-up shops in LA and New York, which, according to Pak, has sped up the rollout of its repositioning initiatives.
Esprit expects to alter its retail strategy over the next quarters as a result of the new outlets, putting a renewed emphasis only on the brand itself rather than its family of owned brands, which includes EDC and the White and Black label.
