With several wedding events getting cancelled in the US owing to pandemic, wedding retailers are resorting to all measures to lure the customers. Here’s one of them!
American retailer of wedding apparels, David’s Bridal, has announced a loyalty programme for the shoppers.
The retailer on Tuesday (8 December) said in a press release that as per the loyalty programme Diamond, Loyalty Program by David’s, variety of gifts will be given to customers at different levels.
For every US $ 1 spent, the shoppers are now going to earn 1 ‘diamond point’.
The loyalty programme will help shoppers to get gifts like fashion accessories, free honeymoon package in addition to getting gifts from Marriott Spa Hotels and Ritz-Carlton Spa, amongst many others.
Notably, new users will receive welcome coupons, which they can share with others through text or e-mail from phones. The loyalty programme is free to join for customers.
The aim is to help customers get more value at David’s Bridal than anywhere else.
In these tough times, it is just another effort on the part of David’s Bridal to serve its loyal shoppers. Earlier this year too, the retailer had offered installment payments through Affirm, in addition to setting up virtual styling appointments – all to win the customers.
Besides, the retailer also unveiled virtual wedding planning tools and very recently also bought the Rustic Wedding Chic website.
It’s not been a great year for wedding retailers and we saw another wedding retailer Brideside shutting down last month. Hopefully the efforts pay for David’s Bridal!
