Columbia Sportswear Company, global leader in active lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories, has announced appointment of Chris Adamek as its new Vice President, Chief of Staff for the Columbia brand.
Columbia is the flagship brand of Portland, Oregon-based Columbia Sportswear Company. Joe Boyle, Executive Vice President & Columbia Brand President will be his reporting head.
Adamek, who has been with the company in consulting role since 2018 and has more than 20 years of management consulting experience, will add wealth of strategic knowledge to Columbia.
He will work closely with other senior leaders throughout the business to help define and execute the top strategic initiatives for the Columbia brand.
“His familiarity with brand’s business is a plus for the company. The company is hopeful that his contributions will help company to grow and evolve the brand around the globe,” stated Joe Boyle in a statement issued by the company.
Before officially joining Columbia Sportswear, Adamek was with a global consulting agency, North Highland for the Pacific Region. He led the retail and consumer goods practice and worked with a number of clients including Starbucks, TaylorMade Golf, Nike, T-Mobile, and DreamWorks Animation.
