The world’s first semi-digital clothing collection was made possible by a collaboration between global fashion retailer Bershka and the maker of AR filters, FFFACE.ME, to bring together fashion and technology.
Customers can add digital aspects to actual clothing in the collection by utilising the Instagram filter, which enables the creation of creative content for social media. This ground-breaking strategy, created by FFFACE.ME, is the first of its type to penetrate the fashion business.
Award-winning XR and WEB3 Product House FFFACE.ME develops projects for the metaverse, digital clothing, virtual influencers, and augmented reality filters and mirrors.
In celebration of the debut, Bershka is allowing customers to explore the potential of digital apparel through an immersive installation in-store. On their mobile devices, visitors may access the experience through Instagram and see the garment virtually come to life.
Kristine Egiazarian, Creative Produсer of FFFACE.ME, commented: “Back in 2019, FFFACE.ME pioneered the development of clothing designed for content creation – Semi-digital clothing. We merge digital and physical fashion by combining the tangibility of physical clothing for our physical persona with the ability to create non-trivial content in social media for our online persona. Together with Bershka, this use-case becomes a mainstream, mass-market trend.”
The semi-digital clothing collection is available worldwide.
