
Bangladesh is all set to address the issue of complaints against the controversial e-commerce platforms after the Ministry of Commerce has asked the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) to settle a good number of complaints filed against crisis-ridden 14 e-commerce platforms even as the central digital commerce cell (CDCC) of the Ministry recently issued a directive to the state agency to take necessary steps in this regard.
This is as per reports which cited sources in this direction while adding different individuals and organisations lodged 66 complaints with the CDCC and of the total number of complaints, 11 complaints were filed against Alesha Mart, 14 against qcoom.com, 20 complaints were filed against Evaly.com Ltd, four against Invariant Telecom Ltd, four against Bangladesh deal.com, two each against e-orange, Dalal plus, Sirajganj Shop, Anonder bazaar, and one each against food panda, Ring ID, prime bazaar.com, othoba.com, and purplexbd.com.
