Balenciaga has recently launched a flagship store on JD.com, China’s largest retailer by revenue.
This new store will showcase an extensive collection, including Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2024 lineup, featuring a broad selection of ready-to-wear garments, footwear, bags, small leather goods, and accessories. Notably, JD.com will serve as the exclusive online platform for the debut of Balenciaga’s new Stapler Sneaker, a design inspired by athletic aesthetics.
In celebration of the launch, Balenciaga and JD.com are offering customers the option to purchase luxury items with up to 24 months of interest-free installments. Additionally, the brand will actively participate in JD.com’s major promotional events, including the upcoming 24 Fall and Single’s Day campaigns.
This strategic expansion enhances Balenciaga’s presence in the Chinese market, ensuring that JD.com’s 600 million customers have access to the brand’s latest offerings.
Balenciaga’s entry onto JD.com follows the successful launches of other Kering brands, such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, and Qeelin, further establishing the platform as a vital partner for luxury labels.
