
Premium lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger and Apparel Group, the top retail juggernaut, celebrated their 17-year, fruitful cooperation on 13th March 2023. The relationship, which started in 2006, has expanded dramatically, now including six e-commerce sites and 53 storefronts spread around the GCC.
To celebrate their successful long-term cooperation and their shared ideals of sustainability and innovation, Sima Ganwani Ved, founder and chairwoman of the Apparel Group, and Nilesh Ved, founder and chairman of AppCorp Global, arranged an intimate lunch for Tommy Hilfiger. Important business figures, consul generals, members of the press, and prominent influencers and celebrities attended the small gathering.
The company continues to invest in innovation that advances the fashion industry in line with Tommy Hilfiger’s ambitious environmental ambition to ‘Waste Nothing and Welcome All.’
Apparel Group Global presented 100 visitors with a special NFTree that featured the recognisable TOMMY HILFIGER monogram and was projected on the Burj Khalifa in October 2022 as a way of celebrating the cooperation and the firms’ common commitment to environmental preservation.
Apparel Group will donate a genuine tree to the Caspa region of Spain for every NFT given. The 100 recipients of these NFTrees will receive carbon tokens that they can trade or use to offset their emissions for the following 20 years. Collectively, these 100 trees will aid in absorbing 25,000 kg of CO2 annually.
