Michael Kors, the reputed US fashion brand, has unveiled its maiden childrenswear collection in alliance with the French luxury group Children Worldwide Fashion.
The new collection comprises apparels and fashion accessories for all girls in the age group of 4 to 14.
Besides the digital flagship Michael Kors’ stores across Europe, North America and Asia, the kidswear line will also be sold through wholesales partners like Zalando, Galeries Lafayette, Ounass and Salam Stores.
The collections, which will also be sold through Children Worldwide Fashion distribution points, will be available in the price range between US $ 45 and US $ 139.
To commemorate the launch, Michael Kors plans to host events worldwide, which would feature kid-friendly activations in destinations such as New York, Dubai, Paris and Marbella (Spain).
These kid-friendly activations will immerse guests in an in-store adventure, besides providing a first look of the new girls’ line.
The kidswear line will be expanded to include infant and toddler sizes for girls.
Children Worldwide Fashion, which initially made its own kidswear line, moved over to licensing high-end brands for kidswear 30 years back. Today it produces kidswear for brands like Givenchy, DKNY, Timberland, Lanvin and Paul Smith Junior, amongst others.
