Agilitas Sports, an athleisure sportswear brand based in Bengaluru, has raised an undisclosed sum of money from Spring Marketing Capital. The company intends to employ the cash to expand its operations and gain a stronger foothold in the Indian sportswear sector.
To further support its expansion, Agilitas is also spending money on marketing, distribution, supply chain management, and research & development.
In a statement, Agilitas CEO Abhishek Ganguly commented on the funding, saying, “Agilitas is thrilled about our latest alliance with Spring Marketing Capital as we celebrate a year of strategic collaborations. This strategic alliance is unique since its goal is to build powerful brands from the ground up rather than only injecting capital.”
“What really attracted us to this partnership is Agilita’s ambitious vision to achieve something remarkable on both domestic and international stages,” said Vineet Gupta, founder of Spring Marketing Capital. “Agilitas has a special opportunity to spearhead this transformation by developing a brand that appeals to people everywhere, not only in India,” he added.
Agilitas Sports was founded in 2023 by Abhishek Ganguly, Atul Bajaj, and Amit Prabhu. Through two rounds of fundraising, Convergent Finance LLP, Nexus Venture Partners, and other individual investors have already contributed over Rs. 530 crore to the company.
