Winsome Textile Industries Limited, a producer of yarns and fabrics for knitting and weaving applications, reported an 8.6% year-on-year increase in total income from operations to Rs. 244.6 crore (US $25.48 million) in Q4 FY ’26, while net profit rose 5.5% to Rs. 5.6 crore (US $583,000).
However, on a sequential basis, profitability moderated as finance costs increased sharply to Rs 14 crore (US$ 1.45 million) from Rs 8.5 crore (US$ 885,000) in Q3 FY ’26, while profit declined from Rs 7.8 crore (US$ 812,000) due to higher finance costs and deferred tax liabilities.
Despite these pressures, total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at Rs. 8.8 crore (US $916,000) compared with Rs. 5.3 crore (US $552,000) in Q3 FY ’26 and Rs. 6.9 crore (US $718,000) in Q4 FY ’25.
For the full financial year FY ’26, the company reported revenue of Rs. 898 crore (US $93.55 million), compared with Rs. 868 crore (US $90.42 million) in FY ’25. Profit before tax improved at Rs. 10.4 crore (US $1.08 million) from Rs. 8.7 crore (US $906,000) in the year-ago period. Net profit declined marginally to Rs. 26.6 crore (US $2.77 million) from Rs. 28.1 crore (US $2.92 million).
According to the financial results of the company, revenue progression during FY ’26 remained stable, with quarterly income improving from Rs. 208.1 crore (US $21.67 million) in Q3 FY ’26 to Rs. 244.6 crore (US $25.48 million) in Q4 FY ’26.
The textile manufacturer has a spinning capacity of 1,06,000 spindles along with a dyeing capacity of 33 tonnes and knitted fabric capacity of 7 tonnes per day and manufactures a range of products including raw white yarn, mélange yarn, dyed yarn, fancy yarn, and knitted fabrics.
