
SGS Group has announced the appointment of Shashibhushan Jogani as the MD of SGS India and as Sub-Region Manager for Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. This is with effect from 1 June 2021.
Shashibhushan succeeds Cresenciano G. Maramot and will be based in Mumbai.
SGS couldn’t have asked for anyone better as Shashibhushan also has the experience of leading its Indonesia operations as MD.
With a rich experience of 18 years at SGS, he held various executive roles within the company, including Indonesia Country Business Manager, and India Business Director for Systems and Services Certification (now Knowledge Solutions). Besides, he was also Head of Strategic Transformation for the South East Asia Pacific region.
Further on the same, Malcolm Reid, COO, South Eastern Asia and Pacific, said that Shashibhushan brings an exceptional track record of energetic leadership, a depth of experience across various businesses and a strong international exposure.
He added “I am confident that our clients, teams and partners will greatly benefit from his vast experience, and lead to a strong and resilient growth for SGS in the region.”
