Rakesh Chadha has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Arvind Atelier, a recently formed subsidiary of Arvind Limited, which aims to improve its sourcing and product development activities with an emphasis on Europe.
Chadha brings more than 27 years of experience across Europe, Asia and the UK, having built supply chain networks and high-performance teams for global fashion brands. Prior to joining Arvind Atelier, he served with Design Arc Limited, where he led the company’s Europe and UK operations.
In a statement, Chadha said the new role would involve building a Europe-centric hub that combines Arvind’s textile and manufacturing expertise with Europe’s design ecosystem. He added that the focus would be on developing resilient supply chains, accelerating product innovation and strengthening partnerships with brands across the region.
Chadha further stated that the company’s next phase of growth would centre on a design-led sourcing model supported by full backward vertical integration, enabling faster product delivery while maintaining strong governance and ESG standards.
Arvind Atelier (FZC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arvind Limited and operates as an integrated global sourcing platform for international brands. Headquartered in the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) in the UAE, the company serves as a sourcing hub for categories including denim, activewear, knits and shirts.
The appointment comes as Arvind Limited continues to expand its international sourcing and manufacturing footprint amid growing demand from global brands seeking diversified and vertically integrated supply chain partners.
