
In a meeting with Spanish Ambassador Juan Antonio March Pujol on Saturday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stated that his state and the European nation will soon achieve a new level of cooperation.
Pujol stated at the meeting that his nation is very interested in establishing long-term technology-led collaborations, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The discussion centred on deepening bilateral relations in various sectors including apparel. Spanish clothing companies ZARA, Desigual, and Mango were invited by the CM to investigate joint innovation centres and sourcing hubs in the state’s integrated textile parks.
The state’s proactive policy structure and highly qualified workforce were highlighted as its main attractions to the Spanish delegation, said the statement from the CMO.
According to the statement, the conference established the groundwork for a new era of industrial, technological, and cultural cooperation and reiterated Odisha’s dedication to forming high-value collaborations with Spain.
