In the first three quarters of 2024, the Lenzing Group’s revenue increased by 5 per cent to US $ 2.15 billion, mostly due to a 10.9 per cent increase in fibre revenue.
In the upcoming quarters, the company anticipates that its performance program will contribute more to further increasing profitability. The business affirms that it expects EBITDA to increase year over year in the 2024 fiscal year.
“The Lenzing Group is still on its path to recovery. We remain committed to maintaining stringent cost control while bolstering our international sales efforts. At the same time, we are adjusting our corporate structure to the altered market conditions,” Lenzing Group CEO Rohit Aggarwal stated.
The EBITDA margin increased from 11.7 per cent to 13.5 per cent throughout the time, and EBITDA itself increased by 20.3 per cent to US $ 283.7 million. In comparison to the previous year, when the EBIT margin was minus 0.6 per cent, the operating result (EBIT) increased to US $ 41.21 million.
Net loss after tax dropped to minus US $ 119.53 million, but earnings before tax (EBT) shrank to negative US $ 35.93 million.
