The flatted factory project in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur will now expedite following approval from the Union Government.
Ata cost of Rs. 22 crore, the flatted factory complex will hopefully start in next three months.
Notably, there will be around 101 plots in this readymade garment park. Almost 40 entrepreneurs have submitted the required amount also.
Pawan Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), said that while Rs. 12 crore will come from the Union Government, rest will be borne by the State Government. Soon the tenders will be issued for this project.
As per reports, the complex will have all basic amenities and with at least 80 factories, it will create jobs for around 2,500 people.

It is pertinent to mention here that Gorakhpur holds priority for the Uttar Pradesh Government that is on toes to develop this city as a garment manufacturing hub.
