Leading global manufacturer of interlinings and inner garment components, Chargeurs PCC Fashion Technologies, creates a new shirting fabric division and names Gianluca Tanzi as its chairman and Giorgio Marcarino as its chief executive officer. The labels Alumo, Brennet, and Eugster & Huber, which embody the pinnacle of Swiss tradition in exquisite shirting textiles, were recently acquired from Cilander.
Gianluca Tanzi commented, “Giorgio Marcarino and I are ecstatic about the chance to breathe new life into the companies we have bought. In order to further Chargeurs PCC’s development strategy, which includes expanding our portfolio—which has historically been focused on inner components and interlinings—with the provision of the best fabrics targeted at the shirting industry, our vast experience and in-depth understanding of the product and textile world will be essential.”
Giorgio Marcarino added, “Chargeurs PCC, which has always set itself apart in the textile-clothing industry by providing innovative products of the highest calibre, is well suited to the new shirting division’s business and growth strategy. We now have a special chance to cross-sell to our interlinings, which will provide the business even more motivation to improve performance while providing our clients with even more thorough and individualised service.”
The Swiss heritage firms Eugster & Huber and Alumo make the finest textiles in the luxury shirting market. By maximising these brands’ potential, Chargeurs PCC hopes to re-establish their dominance in the luxury shirt market. Regarding Brennet, the business has started a significant repositioning strategy aimed at improving productivity and creativity. The strategy is to satisfy the growing need for premium shirt textiles among modern consumers.
