Busi Giovanni, an Italy-based high-performance and high-tech socks machinery manufacturer, has planned expansion of its production capacities in order to meet the growing demand of its BUSI MEDICAL range of compression hosiery knitting machines and other products. Currently, Busi’s annual capacity is around 200 machines per year and is planning to manufacture over 250 machines this year. “Busi Giovanni is known for the quality of its machines and its technology advancements. Our capacity expansion plans take this into account and we will not compromise on the quality we are known for around the world,” said Gianmario Busi, CEO, Busi Giovanni. The manufacturer is also planning to outsource the manufacturing of certain components in the Brescia area to companies who meet their exacting standards while final machine assembly and testing will take place in Busi’s own factory in Brescia.
