Well known Australian outdoor sports lifestyle company, Quiksilver Inc. has elected Andy Mooney as its Chairman, effective from 1st November 2014. Andy Mooney was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the brand in January 2013. In similar leadership changes, Bob McKnight, the co-founder of the brand who has previously served as the President and Chairman, will retire as a Senior Executive of the company on October 31, 2014, and will continue as the Director, and Pierre Agnes has been promoted to President of Quiksilver, effective November 1, 2014. Any Mooney brings with him experience of managing Disney’s consumer products division and Nike’s global apparel and footwear divisions.
