Neelam Shami Rao, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, has launched the Bharat Tex 2026 Event App, a unified digital platform aimed at enhancing engagement and business networking for buyers, exhibitors, delegates, sourcing consultants, speakers, and visitors attending the textile event.
One of the key features of the platform is an AI-powered Smart Assistant designed to function as a 24×7 conversational support tool for attendees. The feature will allow users to ask event-related questions in simple language and receive information regarding schedules, venue details, directions, and other event-related services.
Exhibitors, buyers, and delegates will be able to identify relevant business partners, schedule meetings, manage availability, receive meeting requests, and monitor confirmed interactions through the platform.
To further support exhibitor engagement, the app includes a Lead Wallet and QR-based lead capture system, enabling participants to scan digital badges and securely store structured contact information for post-event follow-ups.
Attendees will be able to access interactive floor plans, search for exhibitor booths, locate companies, and receive stall-level navigation assistance within the venue.
For international buyers and trade visitors, the exhibitor discovery module will enable structured searches across exhibitor categories. Users will be able to filter companies by name, product category, and exhibitor type, supporting targeted sourcing and more focused business interactions across the textile value chain.
The app will also provide real-time access to the event agenda and knowledge sessions, allowing participants to view conference schedules, create personalised agendas, and receive alerts for upcoming sessions.
