Ambercycle, a leader in material research, has partnered strategically with Benma Group to expand the production of circular polyester fibre. The collaboration creates a solid foundation for innovation and expansion by fusing Ambercycle’s circular material technology with Benma’s manufacturing capabilities.
The Chinese company and Ambercycle will increase the manufacturing of cycora fibres, which are made from recycled polyester, as a result of their new collaboration. Earlier, Ambercycle had partnered with Shenghong to scale circular yarn production.
Xu, Chairman of Benma Group, stated that decarbonised polyester plays a crucial role in advancing sustainability within the industry. He emphasized that this partnership strengthens their capacity to provide a wider selection of high-quality, circular fibres, enabling global brand partners to achieve their sustainability objectives.
The main goal of the two companies’ collaboration is to increase the use and reach of cycora fibres, allowing more international brands to integrate circular materials into their supply chains and setting the standard for future textiles that are more circular.
