The Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) is set to organize the Indian International Fabric Expo (IIFE) 2014 from the 14th of October in Ahmedabad. Around 150 Indian exhibitors will display denim fabrics, technical textiles, industrial fabrics, specialty fabrics, made-ups and home textiles at the fair. Buyers from SAARC, ASEAN, African, European and American countries are expected to visit the three-day exhibition. The show will also facilitate networking and meetings amid buyers and exhibitors to develop long-term business relationships. PDEXCIL was set up by the Union Ministry of Textiles to develop the SME weaving sector of India, and to promote cotton fabric, made-ups, and home textiles in domestic as well as global markets.
