Fast-fashion giant SHEIN has been making strides in sustainability and innovation through its Centre of Innovation for Garment Manufacturing, according to a press release.
SHEIN’s Centre of Innovation for Garment Manufacturing has received certification for Zero Waste to Landfill Management System.
A third-party auditor TÜV Rheinland has provided the certification to SHEIN’s undisclosed facility. This is the third SHEIN facility to receive the certification. However, SHEIN didn’t identify the other facilities in its announcement.
To achieve certification, the fast fashion giant established a waste management strategy aligned with TÜV Rheinland standards, focusing on reducing, reusing, and recycling to minimise land pollution from its Centre of Innovation for Garment Manufacturing.
