
A seed fundraising round led by Kyt Ventures has raised Rs. 1.75 crore for the business-to-business footwear startup Kaarigar Mandi.
In the fundraising round, Upaya Social Ventures, IIMA Ventures, and IIM Calcutta Innovation Park were also involved. The money will be used by the company to expand its technological infrastructure and launch strategic business growth projects.
Commenting on the funding, Ankit Kumar, co-founder of Kaarigar Mandi in a statement said, “Our platform is designed to bridge the gap between traditional artisans and modern bulk buyers. With this funding, we aim to further strengthen our infrastructure and expand our reach, creating a thriving ecosystem for footwear businesses and fostering economic resilience.”
Kaarigar Mandi was co-founded by Ankit Kumar, Gagan Mukhi, and Hifza Afaq. Kaarigar Mandi offers bespoke solutions tailored to meet the demands of bulk footwear buyers and fashion brands.
