
Delhi is one of the top-performing cities in fashion and beauty category, claims a recent report by an online shopping platform.
The study conducted by Nielsen Media, commissioned by Amazon India says that customers in Delhi show a strong inclination towards premium products.
The report also says that 81 per cent of consumers intend to shop online during this festive season and one in two consumers are willing to increase their spending this festive period compared to last year.
It mentions that ahead of the festive season, there is an increased demand for premium fashion and beauty brands, ready-to-wear, and K-pop-inspired and nostalgia-driven trends.
The Gen Z customer has a strong preference for K-pop-inspired attires such as oversized clothing, including baggy pants and oversized blazers and nostalgia-driven fashion trends from ’90s and early 2000s styles.
Gen Z is also opting for Indo-western styles like print-on-print sets, ethnic co-ords etc.
It can be mentioned here that the various e-commerce platforms are geared up to en cash the festival season and also having lucrative options to allure customers.
