Uniqlo is set to inaugurate its second store in Italy, this time in the capital city of Rome, following the success of its Milan flagship that opened four years ago. Spanning 14,000 square feet and encompassing three stories, the store will showcase Uniqlo’s diverse collection of men’s, women’s, and children’s fashion. The opening is expected for March 2024, and the store will be nestled within the historic Galleria Alberto Sordi on Via del Corso.
Expressing excitement, Mark Barnatovic, Uniqlo Italy’s chief operating officer, looks forward to enriching the Italian market and the culturally rich city of Rome with Uniqlo’s signature life-wear apparel. The brand’s commitment to quality, simplicity, and durability, rooted in Japanese values, will be shared with both locals and international visitors.
This venture in Rome is a significant extension of Uniqlo’s retail footprint in Europe, joining their existing 70 stores across 10 countries. The retail giant operates 26 outposts in France, 17 stores in the UK, 10 shops in Germany and a number of other locations in countries including Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.
