The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Bangladesh Cotton Association (BCA) have signed a deal recently, as part of which the trade bodies from India and Bangladesh will team up with the view to facilitate exchange of information and establish business ties between members of the two organisations.
This is as per reports, which maintained that GCCI Director, Finance, Apurba Shah and BCA President Muhammad Ayubon on behalf of their respective organisations, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Bangladesh’s capital city Dhaka recently. The memorandum was signed during the fourth Global Cotton Summit 2023 which was held at Radisson Blu Water Garden in the city.
At the signing event, amongst others, were reportedly present the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and Textile Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi.
