The profit of Bangladesh’s Matin Spinning Mills Limited increased 70 per cent year-on-year to Taka 105.19 crore in the financial year that ended on June 30 compared to Taka 61.51 crore in profits that the company generated in 2020-21.
Reports maintained this adding the company thus reported earnings per share of Taka 10.79 in 2021-22 against Taka 6.31 in 2020-21 even if its EPS increased thanks to a rise in sales revenue.
Meanwhile, as per Matin Spinning Mill’s filing on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), there was no significant additional fixed expenditure against the incremental revenue except raw material cost even as the company purchased raw materials at a reasonable and competitive rate, which contributed a lot to achieving extra margin, claimed Matin Spinning in the filing.
