UK-based clothing retailer Next is all set to launch five new Gap shop-in-shops.
The British apparel retailer had first unveiled its Gap-branded shop-in-shops in March 2022 at Oxford Street flagship.
Here it is important to mention that Next had signed a joint venture back in September 2021 to manage the American retailer’s operations in the UK as well as Ireland.
The concession, notably, marks the return of Gap to the UK high street. Gap had closed all its stores here in 2021.
The new Gap shop-in-shops include ones at Lakeside later in August, Birmingham in September and in Manchester sometime towards the end of this year.
Besides, Gap’s e-commerce business has also been fully migrated into Next’s Total Platform.
Importantly, Gap’s website will now benefit from Next’s extensive customer service options that include click-and-collect and free next-day delivery and returns to 450 Next stores.
Gap was founded in 1969 and operates six primary divisions, namely, Gap (the namesake brand), Banana Republic, Old Navy, Intermix, Hill City and Athleta.
