Realising the need of the hour that requires everyone to wear a mask everywhere, every day, Crea Worldwide – an innovation and design led manufacturing company that produces bags, PPE kits and coveralls and tactical gear – recently announced the launch of India’s largest protective mask brand, Mad Mask.
Mad Mask sells more than 1,500 SKUs through its e-store – www.madmask.in.
In its beta phase, the company has been able to sell more than 1,000 masks without any marketing or promotions. It has attracted consumers right from Tier-1 to Tier-3 towns and cities.
Besides the core intent of providing safety to its customers, Crea also wishes to “bring out the cool quotient of our generations,” said Upkar Sharma, Founder and CEO, Crea Worldwide.
The masks are washable and reusable, thus leading to zero biomedical waste, another concern that Crea wants to address through Mad Mask.
As far as the manufacturing process is concerned, these masks have been created with a certified usage of the fabric, and are made of three layers – outer layer (breathable fine soft touch polyester), filtration layer – (25-30 GSM meltblown composite material) and inner layer – (soft and premium poly-cotton anti-microbial finish, silicon washed fabric).
Available in three sizes (from small to large) and six various shapes, starting at Rs. 299, the masks come in more than 590 designs to choose from.
Though the company currently ships only in India, it aims to make it big in the mask category and become a market leader for the same within this fiscal year.
